All surfaces must be structurally souny,dry,clean and free from movement, ol, grease,wax, curing compounds and otherloose contaminating materials.Painted surfaces must be scabbled to expose at least80%of the original substrate.New concrete must be allowed to cure for 28 days.Newly rendered surfaces must be allowed to cure for at least 7days.Steel trowel finished surtaces must be acid etched or wire brushed prior to tiling.For old concrete and rendered surfaces, a strong commercial grade detergent or degreaser must be used to clean.Then thoroughly remove deterentdegreaser with fresh water using a high pressure hose.All surface to be dry for at least 24 hours prior to tiling.Ensure all release agents are removed from concrete surfaces,especially tilt-up slabs.
